Recess Kids is aimed at developing a strong spiritual foundation in your kids by leading them in services specifically tailored to their ages. Our goal is to teach your kids fundamental biblical truths, help them develop a genuine relationship with God, and empower them to walk into their God-given callings.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
When you arrive, our team will happily show you the way to the children’s area. You’ll go to the first-time check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well. On our check-in form we’ll ask things like what allergies your child may have, how many children are in your family, and get your contact information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll see your child’s code on the screen. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service.
Q: Can I meet the Recess Kids workers before I allow my child to be in the classroom?
A: Certainly! Our classroom directors are available most Sundays and can be contacted through the office or email. We encourage all parents to understand the policies of Recess Kids and get to know our leaders as quickly as possible. Each of our kid’s leaders are well trained and given security clearance to teach children at Revivify Church. Recess Kids teachers are fun, caring, and loving people who enjoy teaching children about life and Jesus.
Q: Am I allowed to bring my baby into the Worship Center?
A: Yes, we believe there is no junior Holy Spirit and that infants and children alike can expereince the presence of God in our regular Sunday service. Although Recess Kids has worship services specifically tailored to each age group, we understand that certain circumstances arise where children are required to stay with their parents. Nursing mothers are encouraged to use our Nursing Room located to the left of the Worship Center.
Q: Why do I have to check my children into class?
A: We value the safety of our kids as a top priority. Check in allows us to know who is responsible for each child we are taking care of. As each of our teachers have a thorough background check and are well trained to meet many needs, check-in provides parents an added security in knowing their child will be taken care of while at church.
Are you ready to take the next step?
We believe that your little ones were destined to be giant slayers, and we would love to surround your family in prayer as you commit yourselves to parenting by example. Our child dedication services are held once a month at our 10 AM service. We invite you to bring friends and family to witness the dedication of your kid(s) at one of our dedication services!
